Bridge the Gap Speech Language Services LLC provides speech therapy in the comfort of your home or virtually as deemed appropriate by SLP. Our Speech and Language Pathologist offers comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment for various speech and language needs.

Feeding/ Swallowing Evaluation
Evaluations include a typed written report with goals for the client.
These may include but are not limited to developmental/medical case history, parent interview, observation of child, language sample, observation of a meal or snack if a feeding evaluation is warranted, and/or standardized test to determine if a disorder or delay is present.
Evaluations
Expressive/ Receptive Language- This therapy focuses on the forming of words in sentences and for communicating, as well as the understanding of the spoken words in language conversations. Forming of words in sentences while communicating as well as the understanding of spoken words.
Articulation/Phonology- This therapy focuses on producing correct speech sounds, or speech patterns and may have distortions, or omissions.
Fluency- This therapy focuses on learning strategies to produce smooth flowing speech for communicating with others. Some characteristics may include prolongations, repetitions, and physical tension.
Social communication/ pragmatics- This therapy focuses on the social use of language and its rules across all social environments. Some topics may include eye contact, turn taking, and learning the meaning of facial expressions for social conversations.
Feeding/ Swallowing- This therapy focuses on safety of foods and liquids during meals to ensure no choking or aspiration. It may also focus on sensitivity to foods/or resistance to trying new foods as children get older.
Oral motor- This therapy focuses on the tongue, soft palate, jaw, and lips to ensure they are all working for functional communication across all environments.
